AP Exam Registration
Application Checklist
We accept external students to register for the AP exam at our school.
STEP 1: Complete the Registration Form and Pay the Exam Fee
Fill out the registration form and pay the exam fee.

Completed and signed student Application Form

Copy of Student's Identification
-
Official Transcripts for the past three years (in English)
STEP 2: Ordering the Exam(s)
Students who successfully complete Step 1 will receive an email containing the Exam Join Code within 5 business days.
If your registration is close to the deadline, you will receive the Join Code email shortly.
MAC will send the Join Code only to the primary email address provided in the registration form.
At this point, the student must:

Set up a College Board account at https://myap.collegeboard.org/login if you do not already have one.

Use your legal first and last name as shown on official identification.

Enroll in the exam(s) using the Join Code.

Use the same email address for the College Board account as was used in the registration form (Primary email address).
Important:

Both Step 1 and Step 2 must be completed to successfully order an exam.

If Step 2 is not completed within the timeframe indicated in the Join Code email subject line after receiving the Join Code, the student will forfeit the registration fee, and the registration will be cancelled.

Step 2 must be completed within the registration period specified on this webpage. Late completion will result in forfeited registration.
STEP 3: Writing the Exam (You can click here for more information about exam day)
For all students taking the May 2026 AP Exams, MAC will send an email to the student’s College Board email address only with the exact exam date and location one day before the exam.
Each student will use their own computer to access the exam through College Board’s Bluebook software, except for the following exams:
AP Chinese, AP French, AP Music Theory, and AP Japanese Language and Culture.
Important:
Students must know their College Board login credentials. Exam staff cannot provide login support on exam day.
Please note that the exam payment is non-refundable under any circumstances. Therefore, students must be sure they are committed to preparing to write the exam(s) in May.
It is the student's responsibility to keep updated with AP announcements and directions. Therefore, it is essential to provide an accurate PRIMARY email address for communication purposes.
***It is HIGHLY recommended that students download Bluebook test software to a personal computer and become familiar with the interface PRIOR to writing the exam.***
